Default Honda Techs: Help Needed

1992 Prelude SI
Stock motor and trans.
Dual-friction clutch

The problem is that we need to bleed the transmission fluid. We just put the new clutch in and now the clutch pedal goes straight to the floor. I know we need a pressurising tool. We don't know where the valve is or where to attach the tool. We plan on finishing the car tomorrow (we will have the tool tomorrow). Any help is appreciated.

Trevor

Also: there is a bearing in the transmission (I think it is the throw back bearing) that could possibly destroy the new clutch if it isn't replaced. Help with this would be great also. Thx.

ok there is a bleeder fitting on the slave cylinder. thats where you bleed the clutch from.

as far as the throw-out bearing. you are supposed to change it out when you change the clutch. it should come with it when you get the clutch kit

The kit didn't have the bearing.. I will find out where he got the clutch and see if they say that it comes with one. If they don't provide one, where can I get one?

go to your local parts store...u are supposed to loosen the bolt on the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder and then bleed from there

It was fixed before I got off work (now, 5:00pm). The only thing is, how long can he drive on the old through-out bearing?

BTW: Thx for the help, CHAHONDA and chidoks.
