Default Honda Brake Question (HELP)

91 Crx si. When it is hot outside the brakes feel soft almost like the lines are leaking fluid (which they are not). It is weird because the brakes feel solid when it is colder out side. When i pump the pedal it gains pressure. I should probably re-bleed the lines, but why would temperature matter and could it be something else.

If you tried putting new fluid and a new Clutch master cylinder in it, try replacing the slave cylinder.

replace all the lines. the master cylinder the pads the rotors. then you wont have a problem. what it is, is probably your lines have deteriorated from the inside so its not leaking but causing swelling in the lines due to excessive heat therefore your gettin a spongy or soft feelings pedal. so sooner or later the brakes will fade and you will crash. so just do an all new aftermarket system if you have the money. and BTW is your fluid level dropping and if so is there and spots in the system your finding fluid. if not it may be leaking into the brake booster and causing that to go bad

i would think that the outside temperature can affect the lines by causing them to heat up more than need be. there for giving more elasticity to the deterioratic line. thus causing swelling. have you noticed rubber is softer when hott. than when cold? thats the only solution i see?
