Help: putting turbo kit on 90 civic hatch dx

Default Help: putting turbo kit on 90 civic hatch dx

it has a 1.5 dual point engine in it, only has 2 injectors, do i just buy 2 bigger injectors or do i need to switch intake manifolds to have 4 injectors????
i will only be runnig about 6-7 psi.

D15....hmmmm Dual point.....just get si manifold....wiring for multi port....and feed it boost i guess

any year from 88 through 91. I would probably get the newest possible though just because...

88-91..........would be less hassle.....anything above those years are more expensive..and isnt obd0 which your car is......try a 88-91 crx si intake mani...i have a mare intake mani.....Si from a 88 si crx....15 bucks you can have it....you need injectors for it.....and throttle body and iac motor

it would be very difficult putting your charge pipes on with that big box over top of the motor. I dont think you would be able to do it without cutting a hole in your hood because the throttle body on the DPFI model is facing straight up and down, and on an si model it is horizontal to the ground so you can connect charge pipes easily. Yes you need to change the intake manifold for all practical reasons. But that is the only reason you need to change the manifold... If you could put the charge pipes to it you would not need to change it over. The fact that it has 2 injectors makes no difference because it is still getting fuel to the cylinders as needed, and with an FMU it would increase the amount of fuel by the same amount...

When it comes down to it just change the manifold because it is a better manifold, and you dont have to cut anything. Plus, MPFI kicks DPFI's ass every time..

I would also think fuel delvery would be a problem. Dual points also only run off 1 injector. The other is for cold starts.
