Well your first problem is you bolted it to the block. A header or a manifold would be bolted to the head.

On a serious note. Buy a brand name piece. You are paying the extra for correct fitment and quality.

My buddy bought an Ebay turbo kit for his Miata. By time he paid all the extra money for missing things he needed, and to cut & weld everthing that didn't fit right he could have had a nice flying Miata kit.

I'm glad I don't have that problem. My engine is reversed. Might want to consider raising the car up a lil. 2 inches may look nice but on these roads your header will be screwed.

no the car is a little higher than that. the exhaust just hangs a little bit lower. i havent had the car long. theres just a few things im adding and adjusting. the rubber hangers are stretched beyond their limit like crazy. it looks like a custom exhaust from the cat back to the muffler so once i change some stuff it wont be like that.
anyways ill figure it out. i just wanted to know if slightlt denting the oil man on the corner would hurt anything. i dont know if it will work or not because it looks like a need a 4-1 header anyways

denting the oil pan is risky as you could end up with a header that dosent fit and a leaky oil pan thats prolly gonna drop oil on the header and smoke to high heaven. id do what the other guys say and dont wreck your ride in the name of Taiwan. Terry

haha no i didnt need to bash it in. i just needed to kinda dent the bottom edge of it. it worked fine. i didnt have to do it alot just enough so it would clear it and not hit it. it works fine until i can get another one.
theres a huge difference. i was kinda skeptical of the quality of the performance i would get out of it. it works really good i noticed a huge difference in the acceleration. it revs a little faster now too, not to mention how good it looks. not bad for $54
