Default hatch over heating and check engine light

well im new here and my friends told me bout this site. well i have a eg hatch with gsr swap and well when i woke up and i started driving. it started to bog on me and well i thought it will be okay until the check engine light came on. later on when i drove it again for about 15 mins. my car starts to overheat. all the fluid from the raditor runs back inside the plastic fluid container where it usually sucks all the fluid from. well its starts gushing through the cap and i just let it sit and i put more fluid in and it is fine well now the check engine light is on and the car bogs like a bitch. wont even go when i press on the gas. anyone knows whats up with the car. appriciate the help.

as for the overheating could have been a stuck thermostat.

have you flashed the code yet?

if you have bubbling in your overflow/expansion tank you might have a blown head gasket. dont drive it. it happened to me when i had my truck. if you drive it hot it will do bad things to your internals. good luck

Sounds like a blown headgasket. Go to a local autozone or advanced auto parts and get that code read. You can do a compression test or pull the plugs and see if any of them are extra clean from the steam of the coolant boiling. Hope this helps.
