Check Engine light

ok...when i start my car...the Check Engine light flashs about 6 times and then goes out. I'm pretty sure its the light that comes on every X number of miles when ya need an oil change...but i just got everything changed and checked about a week before it came on...any idea how to get it to stop? thanks

check engine light has nothig to do with oil maintance required is the oil light.

there is a button under the dash you press and hold and the light will stop flashing
