FUEL HAND NOT WORKING!! HELP ASAPP PLEASE
My fuel hand was working halfway when i bought the car.....when i would first start it up it would be right then after about 10 min of driving it would either go to full or empty....NOW its STUCK on FULL alllll the time....ive changed clusters and put a new fuel sending unit in the car and its stuck on full now....does anyone know how to solve this problem? please explain asap on here or calll or text me 540-645-1019

No I haven't checked the wiring yet I was told it could b shorting/grounding out somewhere....there aren't any.fuses/relays for the gas hand I could check?

unplug the fuel sender and see if the fuel hand drops. you can also tap the fuel gauge wire to ground and watch it dance.
If it moves around then the gauge is good and the sender is bad...if the gauge doesnt move, the stepper motor inside the cluster is fubar, or the wiring between the two. these are listed in order of likelyhood.
Senders are like 7 bucks at pick n pull.
