New Clutch Problem 98' Honda Civic Dx Hatch
Hey everyone! I need some advice about my clutch. Yesterday I just installed a new clutch, pressure plate and flywheel in my 98 honda civic hatch with a D16y7 motor. Everything went very well and I have been driving like a grandma to break in the clutch. But for some reason, my honda stalls out while in motion just before I stop at a stop light or stop sign in neutral. When I start the car idle is 800rpm with no fluctuations.
is this normal when breaking in a new clutch?

If the car is stalling while coming to a stop with the transmission in neutral and the clutch out, then it sounds like the clutch is not fully disengaging (dragging)
is it hard to shift into 1st from a complete stop? does it lurch or even move silghtly if started with the car out of gear?
edit: i'm just throwing out an idea...

it really normal to have stalling at any moment of driving, i would check the clutch pedal free-play to make sure its the pedal is fully disengaging the system, just a thought
