Default Firewall questions

Anyone know if cutting of the firewall is needed to fit an h23 in an early model accord, like im thinkn 90-92. Also same question about an EG hatch.

90-92? i think they came with f22's if im right. you should be good. people swap h22 an 23 in accords all day.

that what i though, thanks for the help, much appreciated, whats the big deal with frankenstien swaps, been hearin people bitch how the f22 head on an h22 bottom is so crazy.. i think i'd rather keep the h series head, at least if i was goin turbo route

you got it backwards h22 or h23 head on a f22 bottom end, look at the block it should be cast iron not aluminum like all other honda blocks cast iron block and pistons and rods and about 20 lbs of boost should do ya the block will hold it
