Re: Firewall heat
Do you have a carpet installed?
- Reflective heat film on the firewall
- Turbo blanket
- Heat shields
- Make sure the cat or test pipe has the factory shield on the underbody

Re: Firewall heat
I feel ya. I can't wear flip flops in my car. I carry spare shoes and socks with me.
the trans tunnel is more annoying though. it tends to make my butt sweat, but only on the right side.

Re: Firewall heat
RHD conversion....thats what i did. lol
jk, if someone has removed the sound deadening that will allow alot more heat through. they make some heat sheilding (adhesive) that you can put on the firewall in the engine bay. you may also think about heat wrapping the DP.

Re: Firewall heat
Heat shield the firewall and wrap as much exposed exhaust system piping as you can. The heat shield will keep you from cooking, but the exhaust wrap will keep everything else in the engine bay from cooking.
