Default elctric problem

i just picked up a 91 da stock block dc2head so i was driving and the lights went dim and the car started to bog when i hit the gas igot it home and now it wont turn on like the batterys died but the batt. was just recharged.. now ive had ground problems with it thats where im starting at but if anyone has an idea of to what it is...

it also sounds like your alternator could have gone bad. If so, then the increased load on the battery while you're giving it throttle would kill the battery.

internal regulator in the alt. is probably bad, have the alternator tested
