boost the rs and say fuck it, that's what i'm doing. there's power to be had out of a 420a...and as for the guy that said he was running 16psi and walked a gs w/turbo pushing 22 pounds, i gotta call bs, the 420a isnt that fuckin weak.

yeah...you can make power with the 420a...just more exspensive.
and yeah...also have to agree with chris about beating a 22psi 420a. First of all, I would just call bs on someone running 22psi on that motor period. So either he wasn't running 22psi (most likely) or you're just full of shit

There are differences between motors of the years 95-96, 97-98, and 99. 99 being the most superior when it comes to resisting crankwalk....what year is mine again?
yup, 99 had the revised block. rumor has it there are no reported cases of CW on a 99 yet...

Um before you make a big purchase i'd do some research. make sure you want fwd cause you could get a gsx
which is a street races worst nightmare.
also if your not a turbo guru then get the 4g63 it's a very kind
motor to the newbie's.
as for crank walk i would bet that you would blow your 420a making it turbo. then finding and blowing a walking 4g63.
If you realy need a turbo rs then put the shit on your self.
i would want to know everything i could about the kit and the install. and it's a little more respectable

i sold my nt and bought a gsx, i was nervous at first about doing it cause i liked my car, but i in no way regret selling the nt. Its definately worth selling to buy a turbo. Plus theres alot of amenities that you dont have that i do, simple stuff but makes life better

i didnt sit in the kids car but before we ran he said he was doing 22 psi. as soon as we got to the end of the road he turned off on a side steet and i kept going. so if he really was running 22 psi then the 420a really is that weak. or he just said 22 and wasnt running that much, i havent seen the kid again or i would find out.
