DSM owners.....need help
i have a 95 non-turbo clips and im deciding wether to turbo charge it or not....also i have a opportunity to get a 96 gs-t...(its freekin automatic)...what would actually be better in the long run....the actual 4g63 or the 420a-turboed...also the gs-t this guy is sellin it for $9900... anyway what would be the pricing for the basic set up with all the parts that you need for a actual turbo system to run good with out it sending cylinders out flyin sky rocket and stuff....need help here

GST is the best way to go in my opinion. i have heard that a non turbo converted just isnt very good. all the ones i have raced i have beaten, they just arent built for it, so buy the gst and swap the tranny if you have to have stick. talk to heat he would be the best one to ask.

i know of one shop that does the motor swap thing but i dont know how much he charges his screen name on here is psid off also as far as links go to www.dsmtalk.com everything you want to know if on there including building an fs up to be a turbo, which i dont recomend. i raced a guy 2 weeks ago running 22 psi, with all kinds of shit done to it i was running 16 psi with only a few mods and i pulled like 2 cars on him.

i think you need to do some researching dsm.org/dsmtalk.com.
that is not a drop in swap like a 1g it has all different mounts wiring harness. as for local dsm shops um NO

like has already been said...swapping into a 2gnt isn't a good idea. neither is turboing it imho. 4g63 is what you want to make power. then pick fwd for highway driving or awd for around town. look up crankwalk before you buy anything.
