Default DSM Balance Shaft Eliminator

I have done my Balance Shaft Eliminator a new way. It was a pain in the @$$ trying to press the bearing into the block. I noticed that wear the balance shaft bearing sits there is a plug screw there. I took a drill bit and drilled that hole larger and taped the oil hole inside of the block and caped it with a screw plug and a little JB welds on the plug to lock it in place. Than I taped the outer hole and plugged it too the same way using RTV. I know that some people are going to say that you can put the balance shaft back in the block who cares. The whole thing took about 20 minuets.

what about the oil passage in the back bearing or is it the same??
I never looked. But, do recall the front screw.

You could just tap the block all the way down and put 1 long screw from the outside. How long would that screw have to be??

I've always had the machine shop do the bearing while the block was in there. Or, just left it in. Might save myself 30 bucks next time.

both plugs are in the block and you could use a long screw but it was easier to fine the plug to tap and you would have to fined a real long tap.

i didnt have to do anything like that with mine, i just used the balance shaft to knock the bearing out and flip it 180 degrees to block the hole and used the shaft to put it back in.

i knocked it out and flipped it around, one of the balance shaft bearings didnt even need to come out because there is no oil galley hole in it so you just leave the bearing in there. but the other two i used the shaft as a tool to remove and install them.
