Default Balancing shaft Eliminator Kits For H-series

Has anyone on here tried the Eliminator kit for the balancing shafts in an H-series? Just trying to see what other people think of the idea, whether it being that it frees up horsepower or just using the kit to make room for frame rail clearance. I'm going to try it in my H2B crx to make room for the clearance. Got it from Kaizenspeed

Not a honda, but I took the balance shafts out of my DSM. I didn't notice much additional vibration, but saw a slight increase in oil pressure. I just never really liked the idea that if my balance shaft belt broke, it could cause something to happen to my timing belt as well.

yeah well I guess i'm going to try it and see if it helps in any HP numbers. The reason i need to do away with it is because of frame rail clearance and i'm not too interested in cutting or having to box the frame rail. All i know is that less reciprocating mass and better oiling equals freed up horsepower.People use light weight flywheels to do the same!

Most people get their bottom end balanced when they remove balance shafts. Let me know how it goes im sure i'll see it soon enough. Basically just makes the motor run smoother.

No offense, but you should really research the subject before posting.

O.P. Give Millenium Racing Development a call, and ask if you could speak to Patrick. He's done several balance shaft removals and he never bought a kit. If he's not there, and they won't give you his cell, which I doubt. I'll get him to contact you.

Why would you need to get your bottom end balanced to remove the balance shafts?

I've researched it for a while and the person that i trust the most, Bisi Ezerioha uses the eliminator setup on his all motor F22. Plus its the only way to get the H2b kit to fit in my crx. it will be running with the eliminator kit by tomorrow evening.

Balancing your bottom end would get rid of any irregular vibrations caused by parts that dont weigh the same. Lets the motor rev smoother and run smoother all the way around. The balance shaft main purpose is to counteract for the everyday vibrations of a big bore motor like the H22/23 and the mitsu 4G63. It just balances out the vibrations, and for a weekend warrior, vibrations wont bother me that bad
