Approx. 3-4 peak hp...
Approx 10 ft-lbs throughout, but primarily early in the powerband.
Above 7500 RPM, the stock motor is actually a bit stronger.

Anyways... CR drops to about 9.8:1 from the B16's 10.2:1

Overall, a pretty good street combination.

Add a TypeR cam, as opposed to the stock cam, and you'll see gains above 7500 RPM's. About equal until. Would hold with the B16 stock until about 9000 RPM.

The stock B16 pistons will give you an additional 10 hp, and 3-4 lb-ft of torque. Big gains up top, moderate gains through the entire powerband.

All depends on what level of work you want to do. You can combine a # of stock parts to get a good bit of power.

i.e. If you can find a set of B16B pistons, they will yield the highest compression. A JDM B16 is right behind that.

The GSR head will yield higher compressions, and the flow is almost identical to the B16 head. The TypeR head is special. It has raised ports, and a straighter flow path. Ideally, that's what you'd want for power, but...

Almost any external changes apply similarly to the motors (Headers, intake, etc.)

So, you're basically looking at a few extra ponies, and a good increase in torque (almost 10%.)

Should make it a lot more fun to drive.

Best of luck.

dont get ctr pistons. read this about pistons first. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/2102707

it explains why its better to use something else due to the dome shape of the piston.

That is a VERY good point. Firstly, on the piston weight issue, which causes a "laggy" acceleration compared with a lighter piston, even at the same hp and torque. Further, the information on the "hot spots". Any raised area, especially if it's thin, or has corners, will retain heat during combustion. This leads to knock, which causes you to reduce timing and/or compensate in other ways to keep from destroying the engine. So, while on paper, it may look better, that is paper. It assumes you don't have knock.

(I've never actually seen a CTR piston, so, I'm making some assumptions based on the post.)
