Now that am gonna have a Hondata system with a p28, what rpm level should I set the VTEC at? On DOHC I seen 4800rpm set up cause their redline is at around 8000-8500rpm. Now since the D16 redline is at 7200rpm, so 3800rpm VTEC setup sound ok?

on a stock d16y8 cam i wouldnt activate vtec any lower than 5000 rpm
you could activate it lower but its more of a strain on the springs and youll never feel any difference. now on the other hand if you get an aftermarket performance cam then you would feel the difference in the lower rpm range.
