^there are others, i just can't find them right now.. and all can be had for about the price of a cheap b18a swap, if you know where/how to shop. but.... that is with boost.

a "high HP" - N/A D-series is impossible: high hp = 200+, imo

because i dont want to be fast, i just want to have alittle power. plus i would rather not get an engine with 100+ miles on it when i could rebuild mine and have a reliable car for cheaper

Hey, I can sell you a head that will put you about where you want to be.

It would be the b2/b7/a6 head, port and polished, milled down enough to get you about 10.5:1 compression.

With that you will need to decide on what cam and spring and retainers you will want to use. You can keep it pretty cheap by just using all the head internals from the 90-91 Si. You would make somewhere around 120-125 whp.

The car would be a lot more fun, sounds like exactly what you are looking for.
