ok well i don't know exactly how to do all that but the more info part i can-it's a 90 accord lx with a bunch of miles on it. it just got a new dist. put on it about 5 months ago and the reason i put the dist. on in the first place is because it was throwing a check engine code/light before i got a new one and then after i got a new one so......

If it's in the distributor, you're probably taking about a cam angle sensor on one of those vehicles. Most crank sensors are mounted at the crank snout near the harmonic balancer.

not on a honda.....almost every non OBDII honda dist. has a cam and a crank sensor in the distributor.


there are two seperate sensors in it, one is for cam reference, and the other is crank....the ecu interpolates the difference.


my bet is you have a wiring issue...but there is a poss. that it is a bad dist.


BTW....this is FC735...my computer is dead...

ok thanks i guess i'll call up my mechanic friend and ask him if he can look at it for me and figure out what it is thanks everyone.
