wow, wtf was he thinking? i let my friend work on my car once, all he had to do was put my valve cover on. he tightened my valve cover bolts with a 1/2 drive impact gun. lol, he bought me a new valve cover and hasnt worked on my car since.

^^^hey what do you think the EGR does??? hahaha

any way to help out... if the plugs were wet with water thats not good. to be honest, you are probably facked and you should probably kick "your friend" (in which i mean you, even if you aren't the culpret, you should have double checked) in the dick as hard as you can.
if you are lucky, and the car still turns over by hand, you HAVE FIXED ALL PLUMBING PROBLEMS, and sprayed a LITTLE WD40 or carb cleaner in the cylinder holes to disipate the water, then with the plugs still out crank the motor over several full rotations by hand with a ratchet. if it seems OK and there isn't any water visible in the cylinders (use a flashlight) keeping the plugs out and pull the fuel pump relay so it doesn't squirt raw fuel in the cylinders which could look like water, crank the motor over with the key so it forces any other water out that may have been traped by the valves or stuck in the intake system. THEN do a compression test to see if they are close to even. if one or two or all are down on pressure (google the psi i don't know off the top of my head) by a good ammount you probably bent 1 or all rod(s). if not put the plugs back in hook everything back up PROPERLY (i advise leaving your friend at home with ice on his balls for this part) and see if it will run with out sounding like there are small hammers smacking the block. Good luck and next time make sure you know 100% what you are doing
