Default civic throwing a code.

I have a 96 civic dx with a mini me swap and an obd1 conversion done to it. Everytime I have the air conditioner on and I press down hard on the gas....right as my car reaches 5,000-5,500 rpm (which is where my vtec engages) the car bogs out and vtec won't engage and my check engine light comes on. This has also happened once before when the a/c is off, but it happens all the time when A/C is running. I plugged a paper clip into my ecu to create a jumper and read the code. My check engine light flashes only one short time, but very very dim. Then it doesn't do anything for like 10 sec. Then it'll flash one very short time again....(process repeats itself over and over) so I'm thinking its throwing a Code 1. Can anyone tell me wuts happening to my car, or wut that code is?

Well I have a 95 p28 ecu so my car is running 92-95 specs. So why do u think my o2 sensor would be failing only when the a/c is on, or only when vtec is engaging??
