Not true, caster and toe can have different effects under braking. I would check the brakes first though.. I'm just throwing out other possibilities if it isn't the brakes.

He has a point my old B13 would shake under braking conditions and it was really worn ball joints replaced the joints never did it again.

You can't always cut rotors if they are under discard thickness..

Don't be cheap, replace with new pads and rotors. Get Ceramic pads, semi matallic tend to put out alot of brake dust which can also induce a a lot of squeaking.

not very likely. Another one of those things you'd mainly feel it at speed.

Yes, that you'd feel. Alignment issues are largely geometry based, so you may only have problems when the suspension changes under weight transfer, etc. Tire balance would affect you at a given speed (or range of speeds) no matter what.

I would look into the rotors first. 99.9% of the vibrating while braking issues we see are brake rotor related.

got to the vb tech center. we'll resurface them mad cheap if not free. i go there and either i could do it or get a kid who is mad good at it to do it. i'm there 8-10 if you get there at like 8:30 you should be good. but i think you should go with new rotors. good luck
