A/C purging
This past weekend, I did the changeover from R-12 to R134a for the AC on my car. Everything was fine all weekend, nice cold A/C, no problems.
Today I was sitting at a light and I heard a sound like someone was purging nitrous.
Any idea what this might be? Did I overfill the A/C?

Re: A/C purging
its purging as a safety device called either a high or low side pressure relief valve... something in your ac system is not working correctly. If this is on a ford check your compressor for good operation, make sure there is no clogs in the lines and everything electrically with the ac is in good operation (a/c cycling switch, etc, etc)
