B20 swap info
I am getting a deal for 1950 for a complete b20b swap with everything except mounts. It was also stated that I will need an ls intake manifold for the b20 manifold will not fit under my hood because it is too long. Is $1950 a good deal? How much wiring am I looking at? I am in a 2000 civic EX coupe. What ecu will I need? Will I need any kind of tuning down to get it to run right? Will I be throwing any codes?

I heard the stock b20 swap is slow as hell (that's what i heard). What might need to be done to it to make it a decent daily driver with a little kick? I know there are alot of people out there that thinks they know this swap, but really never worked with it.
As far as money, a B20b swap will probably cost you less to do than any other motor simply because you can find a B20b long block for $700-$500.
It depends on what your "complete swap" consists of. You can get a B20b long block for around $700-$900, then you need to by a transmition which varys in price on what transmition you want. Then Motor mounts which vary depending on if you buy them new from honda, new from hasport, or used from junkyards or various other people. Then Intake manifold/throttle body, Axles, Shift linkage, Throttle cable, Crank pulley if you decide not to use the stock B20 one, ECU if you dont want to use your single cam ecu, and dont forget about a clutch and flywheel. There are probably more things i am forgetting about. But i wouldnt really consider a swap complete unless they are installing it for you because there is always something missing. Either it be a couple bolts, axles, etc. They are usually short in some department.
can you put up a rough monetary value of a complete b20b swap? I've been doing research and seen that the b20 really has weak sleeves. I was planning to run boost with it..is that a good idea?
