the vtec solenoid uses the head as the ground... you shouldn't have to wire in a ground... just like the starter. The starter has 2 wires going to it, one is direct battery, the 2nd is the starter signal. The ground of the starter is the actually the casing of the starter and the tranny. Just make sure you're engine is grounded and you're set.

this is correct. The VTEC pressure swithc however has two wires, just ground the black one with the rest of the grounds on the thermostat housing.
