THAT IS SERIOUS SHIT CARSON....it shouldnt have happened more than once. get that shit to a mechanic NOW. you are letting katie's life ride on mis-performing equipment. the computer is obviously malfunctioning. get it looked at man!
I had a similar problem a few years ago on my commuter Maxima. One of the ABS encoders (looks like a gear) on one wheel had cracked, and was spinning a little on it's own. It bashed the ABS sensor on that wheel, and it didn't trip a ABS warning light, but the ABS system would freak out. All it ended up needing was a new axle w/encoder, and a new sensor for that wheel..
So get it checked out by a good shop, and hopefully it isn't anything serious. I haven't really heard of ABS computers going back, it's my understanding that it's usually bad inputs from some part of the ABS system.
