ABS problem

Default ABS problem

well my abs light is on and i know whats wrong with it. but i really want to take it out because its cheaper so i need all new brake lines for it to be able to work. but if i buy aftermarket ones that is non-abs brake lines will that work? let me know. Thanks

year? make? model? kind of ABS?

it is alot more then you think to remove ABS. and if you do it, you must do it completely, or it will fail inspection.

94 civic hatch SI and i dont know what different kind of ABS is in my car...but the dealership is going to charge me 1000 to fix it but i dont have that money.

sounds like an HBCU went bad. go figure.


to convert to non-abs, you will need ALL lines from MC to the wheels, the MC is the same if i recall, and you will need to remove all associated items for ABS (ABS control unit, the lamp in the dash, and all the stock lines when you install the other lines) you should be ok leaving the WSS, but i would remove them for cleanliness.

I have no idea what you just explain to me but if i would have to remove it i would call you to do it for me because you know what your talking about.
