Alright, back at it again... So lets start with this. The Vehicle Runs, Drives, Idles


Someone ELSE looked at the car, and told her that the head gasket is blown, after i just had it replaced... Now wouldn't this car be smoking or not driving at all with a blown head gasket or something?

 

If the head gasket was completely blown, the motor would not run, and if it did, it would run like complete shit. Also you could prob see coolant coming out from the exhaust ports around the header. Has the car overheated alot at any point?

Well that's what i thought! i thought if the head gasket was blown, then you would DEFINATELY know... It overheated pretty bad once, and that's when i took it to get the head gasket/waterpump replaced...

The car does Run, it idles fine, it starts up pretty easy... i think the timing might be a LITTLE off,, when i stomp the gas, it lags a few seconds,, it LAGS up to about 3000rpm where it then will take off and have full power...

Suggestions?

 

I dont think you have a headgasket issue then, where are you located man cause you really need to get one of us out there to confirm this timing issue, if thats what it is at all.

You're replacing small things and its getting better but there is still a problem, did this car run like ass before it broke down?

 

Well Yeah, the car ran kinda shitty before the water pump went out and fucked shit up... I am NO Genius when it comes to working on cars, but i am NOT an idiot... i just had the head gasket replaced with the water pump, timing belt, IACV/TPS/Camshaft Position Sensor... I am pretty sure the head gasket is not blown, and i don't know many people who know Mitsu's.... if one of you would be willing to help me out i would definately somehow compensate you within the next weeek... Beer, Buddha, money. etc... i can't have this shit go out on my girl .lol
