Re: 94 accord cv joint
if its only when turning nopt like going over bumps when driving or anything, its the cv shaft, its better to just go ahead and repalce the whole axle, its pretty easy but u should find some help if youve never done one before

Its not that hard, a pickle fork makes it easier than a flat head to pop the axle out of the trans. Just keep in mind that you want the car settled on the ground before you torque the lca bolts to try to retain your alignment.
And maybe look at the trans seal after driving for a bit to make sure its not leaking.

Re: 94 accord cv joint
lower control arms dont have anything to do with the alignment on a 94 accord, the tie rod does, and as far as a pickle fork, just dont mess up the axle seal, but optherthen that yeah fairly easy, i was just sayin get some help because it appears as if you are particularly sure of what u need to do for a cv axle replacement

If you torque your lca bushings with the car in the air I dont see how it wouldn't affect your suspension geometry. I guess alignment is a bad choice of a word but you dont wont to bind up your bushings.

Re: 94 accord cv joint
i see your point, i do that shit everyday and never had a problem with alignment just from replacing an axle, i mean you dont have to remove the lower control arm, just the strut wishbone bolt, disconnect the lower ball joint, remove the axle nut slide the axle out of the bearing/ knuckle, and then pop it out of the trans, you can work the axle out around everything else so really your not messin with anything that affects suspension geometry because everything stays in place and the alignment shouldnt be touched
