@jarret2k
the car was in fine running condition when i bought it. It drove four hours with few problems. One time it would not go into reverse, but only 1 time, after pushing the clutch and trying a second time it worked. No problems shifting or with power. I drove it home and parked it overnight. The next morning I had no clutch pressure and the reservoir was empty. I have located what seems to be a small leak but I am not 100% sure. (ran out of daylight)

I'm gonna step in here just because the OP seems to be willing to learn and admits he's fairly ignorant. First OP, where are you located?
Next, its obviously leaking fluid somewhere and you need to find out where otherwise you'll be right back in this spot. That said, you need to bleed the clutch, not just put fluid in and pump. You will need a second person to do this without the tools.
You bought a project vehicle, you got a project vehicle. Speaking from years of experience, you NEVER want to make your project vehicle your DD.
Someone who considers it the 'perfect' vehicle.

Is it possible the problem is now in my shifter? Is it possible my pressure issue and shifting issue are not connected? Please do not tell me to "google" this. Google is full of bs and inaccuracy
