Default 95 Accord, No Heat From vents!!!

I have a 95 accord where the air blows cold and there is no heat coming out from the vents. If any one thinks it could be anything else, please let me know. I have checked the coolant hoses on the car after it warms up. both sides of the thermostat. on the top side the water is warm, on the bottom hose it has fluid in it, but that fluid is cold.

To me it sounds like you need to replace the thermostat first then and bleed all the air from the system. If the lower hose is staying cold, 9 times out of 10 its a thermostat problem.

or maybe your distribution flaps are broken or the crontrol knob is broken. if you say you have heat in both of the hose coming from the heater core your problem might be the flaps in the the box is broken. if you dont feel heat on one of the heater core hoses then probably you have a blocked heater core.

There's a little box with a cable attached to it right where one of the heater hoses goes into the firewall. Have someone sit in the car and switch the lever or whatever it is from hot to cold a few times and see if the arm on that box gets moved by the cable. It should go from side to side relatively freely.

Yeah my heat wouldn't come on at one point. i pulled the instrument cluster out and checked the cold/heat cable, and it was fairly tight. i later found this little silver lever that you described and pulled it towards me......instant heat. Oh and this should be located under your throttle body and close to your speed sensor.
