Default MAP Sensor

I have a 98 Type R and the MAP sensor is bad.

I ordered the part from Honda and they told me it was on backorder with no ETA.

So I was wondering if anyone knew the denso part number for it? i.e. PS-30 or whatever.

I've used a GSR map sensor on my JDM ITR motor before. I think all 96-01 Teg and 96-00 Civic map sensors are the same. I'll check the stock # when I get home...

why do you think its bad? I've never really seen many stock map sensors go bad. Is it just throwing a code?

I reset the code and it hasn't thrown it in a couple days, but the over rev is still happening and the thermostat is always reading completely cold unless it's sitting still. As soon as it's driven down the road it will go completely cold.

I have a spoon thermostat switch and thermostat to replace it with, I just want to be sure that's the problem.
