Reckless
Nice edit! I was typing that out in pretty extensive detail before you edited it, and didn't post until after of course... but it looks like we're on the same page with things.
^ dude, you're lucky... i had to be in the individual cement wall cells with doors on them where they lock people up as soon as their arrested, and where people are for isolation(23 hours locked up, 1 hour out). You at least had people you see or talk to if you wanted, my first night I was locked in a cell by myself around 8:30pm and probably didn't fall asleep until 3 or 4am and saw absolutely no form of life at all, nor did I even hear anyone talk. It was one of the most depressing feelings in my life, I'm not going to lie.
But you really did sum the experience up pretty well.

it seriously makes you feel like you're a fucking zoo animal and have no purpose in life at all, and as if you're not even a real human being any more. i hated it, but damn did wendy's taste good every sunday night hahaha
I would have rather been in a cell all by myself at that point... People were friendly, but I was awfully anti-social in jail. I didn't want to associate with anyone. I just wanted to mind my own business, speak to no one, and get the fuck out.
The first person who approached me introduced himself and told me he was convicted of rape! He was a good 6'4" or so, about 280lbs, and blacker than words can describe. lol.. Then another guy came up and talked to me and he was in there for running over someone with a car... The next one? Drug dealer. He sold hard narcotics. Says he was a big time drug dealer. lol..
I just wanted to keep to myself! Two of the guys in there were wanting me to keep in touch with them after I got out and try to help them get out of there. They said they were in there wrongfully and wanted me to help them get an attorney. I feel bad about it, but I didn't want to get caught up in any of that.

hahahahahhahahahahahha at the rape guy, he was probably just fucking with you since you were a new guy, rapists tend to try to hide that shit so they're not constantly getting their ass kicked
there was this creepy ass looking old guy in there(late 40's but looked older) and he wouldn't say what he was in there for, and each time someone asked he'd say "for killing someone for being too nosey." Then he'd go off on a speal about how he looks at it as a don't ask, don't tell policy like the military, where if you wanna tell him what you did, that's fine, but he doesn't like to put his business out there.... come to find out, he's there for a having a video with a 16 y/o boy and told a couple of the other inmates in there that he liked to suck dick. I'm just glad he never said any of that shit too me or so that i could hear it and that I didn't find out about it until my last weekend.
but most of the people in there i was around were there for DUI's and driving on suspended or other speeding charges, it sounds like you were in general population for your weekend, whereas i was in the safe housing unit thing where it's just weekenders, new arrests, new commits waiting to clear medical, and then people that had been in fights or had gotten hurt in general population.

Yeah, defiently agree with you guys on the jail being a good wake up call. I would be the first to admit it that I am in dire need of one. Just the thought of going to jail has shaken me quite a bit (not that I'm scared, just don't want it on my record
) Oh well, I got whats comming to me. Thanks again for all your imput.

The best thing that I can say, and have said, is this:
Best of luck to you, regardless of what happens. I hope you don't have to go through what we have, but if you do: you'll be better off in the long run. It sounds like you've already had your eye opener, but jail reinforces it. I'm not trying to scare you or make you nervous about it, but I wanted you to be prepared for what I was not prepared for. I really had no idea what it was going to be like, and I went into it with absolutely blind expectations.
