Do any local places do ceramic coating?
dude, you can get heat sleeves to slip over your hydraulic lines. yeah, you will have to bleed the hydraulic system afterwards, but maybe it's time to look into a high temp hydraulic fluid if you are not already running it.
If you have access to a bead blaster, there are several coatings you can apply yourself from http://techlinecoatings.com . Check out the retail products and the FAQ.
I did my own coatings on all of my exhaust components using the "turboX" black coating:

I still have to pull the headers and get them fixed first... I'll probably start on Sunday.
Like Axcelerate... I just want basic heat protection... I'm NA so it's not crazy like a turbo. If the coating is guaranteed for 3 years then great.
And no... I have no access toa beadblaster.
I'll probably take most of my exhaust and my tunnel plate to get coated.
i like the stuff that has the kevlar/fireproof crap on the inside and the aluminimum foil stuff on the outside. reflected heat...and it's in tube form, so you get 360* of heat protection.
then you take that heat tape stuff and 'finish' it on the ends.

The DEI heat tape is kevlar based.. it's expensive as shit for a role. Pretty much the same stuff hte sleves are made of,but in tape form.
