Ceramic coating
Can anyone recommend a place in the Richmond area that can do high temperature ceramic coating on exhaust parts? I have an up-pipe and down-pipe for my car that I need to get coated before I can put them on. I'd do it myself with the VHT coatings, but I don't have an oven that goes up to a high enough temperature to cure it properly. So, recommendations?

Not local but I sent my headers to airborn coatings and with shipping about two weeks back to me.

Sounds good, I'll try to give you a call once I have the parts. I just ordered the downpipe the other day.
That's a possibility but I'll need to check on the requirements I have for the coating. That says it's good up to 1200F continuous with up to 1500F for short periods of time. I've heard that I'll need a coating that can do 1400-1600F, so that one may not cut it. I've heard the preferred one to use is Jet-Hot coating, which is good for up to either 1700F or 2450F, depending on which one you use.
