well, prior to you describing this fire, i was thinking it was a speedo cable, depending on the car. but since you said it worked fine before that fire, i would check out all the wires that got fried and repair them, and work from there.

You had an overcurrent condition in your electrical system UNDER YOUR DASH, after which you started having electrical problems, and you THINK it MIGHT have something to do with it?! Well no shit, sherlock. Reseting your ECU is a good idea if you don't give a shit what it thinks you need to address...but with fires happening in your rather important electrical system that made your car run like shit now, then I WOULD THINK YOU WOULD WANT TO ADDRESS IT!

ok i jus checked the codes from my PCM and they are....code p0135(41) primary heated o2 sensor heater circut fault (sensor 1).....code p0141(65) secondary heated o2 sensor heater circut fault(sensor 2)......p1166(41) primary heated oxygen sensor circut electrical fault(sensor 1)....p1167(41) primary heated oxygen sensor circut heater system fault (sensor 1).....p1297(20) electrical load detector (eld) circut low input......p1298(20) electrical load detector (eld) circut high input......I DONT KNOW WHAT THESE DO......help call me 813 1797

 

Replace your O2 sensor for most of these. And it looks like EGR is still an issue.

The electrical load shit is probably where you fried something with the wiring of your dash lights...car electrics is tricky and ugly..good luck.

 

i dont have a EGR valve.....only automatic and d16y5 have it

 

ok today i realized my car's check engine light come's on when the car is warm and I down shift and let the rpm's go down and ride the gear. Then it comes on and idle's like shit. What would make this happen?
As for the speedometer it will bounce around 10mph what i'm actually going then will sometime's not work at all? cord?

my speedo will either not work at all or bounce between the mph im going and 10 above ....and im still confused about my electrical problem....im working on fixing the ELD under the fuse box and according to my haynes manual i have to replace my whole main fuse box under the dash.....so im not to happy about thatbut yea i think its just ur speedometer and im haveing electrical problems.....I DONT KNOW
does anybody here work for casey honda that can look at my shit for me??? PM me PLEASE

 

if it is something electrical dont fuck with it, take it to a shop, that way if it gets fucked up they fix it.
