WTB: 9mm handgun
You are right, its all my opinion. For one, as you know, I'm not a big handgun guy. I like rifles/shotguns/muzzleloaders and for what I do, handguns just aren't that practical. 6" groups @ 25 yards won't cut it for what I want/do. If you want to carry one on you, then you really only need one handgun and its all your personal choice as to what handgun that is. There are far better choices for that gun than a Glock.
All your points are right. Not everyone in the world is a gun expert and anybody that makes something that appeals to the masses has done something right. I'm not the masses, I like high quality guns and quality craftsmanship. Looks, comfort and reliability come down to the majority of my gun purchases and Glock only features one of those for me. I like match guns and the accuracy they have, which Glock can't compare. I have larger hands and big fingers and I don't like their ergonomics or their trigger feel. Yeah it works. A Supra and a Civic both drive too right? Which would you rather have?
I'm not arguing their reliability. AK's are reliable as hell and they both look like shit IMO. They have to be cheaply made to be able to sell them at their price points and still be profitable. They aren't the biggest pieces of shit, but to me, they are still shit.
You need to come out and see the new and improved range at some point too. You can bring your Glock out and I'll let you shoot a few nice guns too.
<3 u too Pumpkin.
Glocks have all kinds of mysterious problems that pop up in nearly every model which, often times, Glock refuses to fix through a recall. Usually it's called an "update" that comes in the later versions where you would need to pay for the fix. On a couple of occasions Glock has recalled pistols sold to police departments while refusing to fix those sold to civilians. All of these little problems have earned Glock it's reputation as a poorly made unreliable handgun and a manufacturer that doesn't stand by it's product.
I'm not a fan of Glock's trigger pull myself, but even if I loved it I would never own one for their reputation for shafting customers. While they might be a good deal for a handgun in their price range I'm glad I can afford better. HK all the way.

I just got the P30 and love it, what H&K do you have.
Do you personally know anyone that has had a problem with there glock, if so who and what was wrong with it. I have actually personally seen Taurus, Beretta, Ruger, Walther, Kel-tec, multiple 1911s (cheap ones) and a couple of others i dont even have to mention, break. Not a Glock, but hey I guess my glock is one in a million.
You know Toyota has had recalls and problems, too and have not fessed up but they are still a great auto maker and I trust their product.
Not for the money.
You need to shoot this 1911 I have, supposedly with match grade ammo it shoots 3 inch groups at 50 yards.
It depends what I want to do with it, whether I need a point A to B, or if I want to fly with style.
I have a good amount of guns now besides that ole Mossberg I brought out. H&K P30, S&W 686+, Les Baer 1911, Erma Luger .380, the piece of shit glock, an AR and hopefully a Yugo AK this week. And just let me know when you want to go to the range. I am ready anytime.

A buddy of mine used to own a Glock .40 (not sure which model). The only problem I know of was with it not feeding certain kinds of ammo reliably.
I found a gun shop on J.Clyde that is a Glock authorized dealer and will sell me a brand new Glock 19 for $469, he will even give me two 17 rnd clips in exchange for the 15 rnd clips.
here is a pic of the XD with my m4

It has the 16 round mag in in the pic above, with the 10 round mag it is super small.
