my life story

BEAWRE OF THIS SO CALLED MACHINE SHOP PERFPRMANCE UNLIMITED
ON 7520 AVE J NORFOLK, VA. 23513. JEFF THE OWNER FUCKED ME OUT OF
1400.00 IN MACHINE WORK BECAUSE OF THE CRAPY WORK BUCK HIS SO
CALLED MACHINES DID. BUCK IS THE SORRIEST MOTHER FUCKER I HAVE EVER SEEN. YOU WOULD THINK A MACHINEST THAT HAS YEARS IN BUSINESS WOULD KNOW HOW TO DO THE BASICS THAT HIS JOB CALLS FOR.
I BROUGHT A 1978 FORD 400 BLOCK TO THE MACHINE SHOP TO HAVE THE BLOCK CLEANED, CHECKED FOR DEFECTS AND CRACKS, BORED, HONED, AND THEN ASSEMBLED.
WELL BUCK COULD NOT GET THE FIRST BASICS STEPS COMPLETED RIGHT. I DID NOT FIND THIS OUT TO I CALLED AND ASKED HOW THE ASSEMBLEY WAS GOING AND HE TOLD ME HE FOUND A CRACK IN ONE OF THE CYLINDERS, AND THAT HE HAD TO TAKE IT BACK DOWN TO BEAR BLOCK AND SLEVE THAT CYLINDER. NOW THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND IN THE CLEANING AND CHECKING FOR DEFECTS.
AFTER BUCK SLEVED THE CYLINDER AND GOT THE SHORT BLOCK ASSEMBLED I CAME AND PICKED UP MY BLOCK AND HEADS. EVERYTHING LOOKED TO BE GOOD WHEN I RECEIVED IT. I GOT IT HOME AND ON THE STAND AND THAT’S WHEN SOME TROUBLE BEGUN. AFTER I HAD GOT THE BOTTOM END SEALED AND CLOSED. I SPUN THE BLOCK RIGHT SIDE UP. I INSTALLED THE TIMING COVER AND THEN STARTED ON THE LIFTS. WHILE INSTALLING THE LIFTER I NOTICE THAT I COULD NOT GET THEM TO DROP IN THE BORES FREELY. SOME OF THEM WOULD NOT GO IN COMPLETELY. I CALLED BUCK AND ASKED HIM WHY I WAS HAVING THIS PROBLEM AND HE TOLD ME TO PLAY WITH THEM OR TO TAKE SOME SAND PAPER TO THE LIFTER BORES.
I TALKED TO A BUDDY AND HE TOLD ME TO ASK THE GUY IF HE HAD HORNED THE LIFTER BORES. SO I CALLED AND HE TOLD ME THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO HORN THE LIFTER BORES BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN BROKEN IN FROM THE PREVIOUS LIFTERS.
GOT THE ENGINE COMPLETED AND INSTALLED IN TO MY FORD TRUCK. WHILE BREAKING IN THE CAM THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING ROUGH. I TRIED TURNING THE DISTRIBUTOR LEFT AND RIGHT. THIS HELPED A LITTLE. AFTER 30 MINUTES OF BRACK IN. I SHUT HER DOWN AND ALLOWED HER TO COOL DOWN. THE ENGINE NEVER RAN RIGHTS OR CLOSE TO RIGHT AFTER IT COOLED DOWN.
I HAD THE TRUCK TOWED TO THE MECHINE SHOP AND THEY FOUND THAT THE LIFTS AND CAMS WHERE WIPED OUT. THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD THE FIRING ORDER WRONG AND THAT IS WHAT CAUSED ME TO WIPE OUT MY CAM AND LIFTERS. I KNOW DAMN WELL HOW I HAD MY WIRES AND I KNOW DAMN WELL THEY WASN’T WIRED WRONG. I CHECKED AND DOUBLE CHECKED THEM BEFORE THE BREAK IN.
I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE LIFTERS BEING HARD TO DROP IN THE BORES AND THAT THEY DIDN’T FALL IN EASY AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WHERE NO SIGHNS OF THAT. THAT MY FIRING ORDER WAS WRONG AND THAT’S WHAT CAUSED IT.
I TALKED TO THE OWNER AND HE TOLD ME THE SAME THING. I HAVE TALKED TO MANY OF PEOPLE AND THEY SAID IMPROPER FIRING ORDER WOULD NOT CAUSE THAT.
THE REASON I AM POSTING THIS IS BECAUSE I DON’T WANT KNOW ONE ELSE TO BE FUCKED BY THESE PEOPLE.
