Default Lifting an XJ jeep

I gotta 97 jeep xj and i wanna get the cheap ebay 3" lift kit which includes (2) 3" spacers for the front
and (2) add-a-leaf springs for the rear.

now my question is do i really need new shocks if the ones i currently have are in good working order?

i know the travel of the shocks will be reduced due to the lift but i'm just using the jeep as a DD and will most likely NEVER go offroading.

thankx

Dont do the cheap ebay, or add a leaf. It's going to suck ass, and never ride right. If you don't want to spend the money, keep it stock.

please do it right. You're gonna come out with an xj that is 2 inches lower in the back. Draging ass around town. Buying that lift (or rough country for that matter) will make your truck look worse than it does now.

Do it right the first time. new leaf packs and new springs.

You'll be fine. There will be no death wobble and your stock shocks will work fine. But you do get what you pay for.

well i got mixed emotions on this one, i know i get what i pay for but like i said this is going to be strickly cosmetic just for driving around town. And what's this death wobble im guessin its pretty common among xj's that lifted with budget kits?
