Default Lifting CR-V

Anyone know what all will be required to lift a CR-V? I am thinking about getting one to take on the beach since I'm fishing in hatteras every weekend, plus the CR-V will fit all my other needs. But I'll want about 3 more inches of ground clearance and bigger tires. I can't seem to find any info at all searching...

Thanks

you can always do a homemade body lift with square or round tube steel as spacers just make sure lines and cables are long enough as well as steering linkage that will allow you to put bigger tires on which will give you clearance cheapand fairly simple

i wouldnt recommend taking a cr-v offroad period. the rear end differntial gets hot very quicky and shuts off then your stuck.... they were designed for snow not sand or mud .... when the front wheels slip(fwd) the rear wheels kick in

How is this possible, I'm under the impression that the cr-v is unibody...

You lift it the same way you lift a Civic or Accord. Duh.

After you get it lifted, post something up, I would love to see it in action!
