You people are all-around ass holes. Its not like he said he was wanting to enter the TOUGH TRUCK challenge......

Go with the BDS springs. You can find stonger axles if need be. 29's would get you the clearance you want. I would recommend adding a LARGE trans cooler for the extra heat.

I was tyring to find the picture of one i had, it had 30's on it with some fender trimming. I believe it was from Australia. EVen had a snorkel.

If you do it, post some pics.

Hes one of those know it all faggots, let him think hes tight. Lifting a cr-v is possibly the stupidest waste of money someone could do. Thats up there with all the rednecks that put lifts on there station waggons. You should go ahead and put some straight pipes on ur 4 cylinder so you can fit in, im sure it will sound real nice.

that was in response to my WHY WHY WHY Would you want to lift a CRV?
I also said that it was probably like getting married. It seemed like a good thing to do at the time.

THAT sounds like I am being an ASSHOLE?

You people are all-around ass holes. Its not like he said he was wanting to enter the TOUGH TRUCK challenge......

Well XratedSi, at least I do not go around acting like I know it all. Nor do I go around calling people assholes. You obviously know that I am the only one with balls big enough to race a car that is OBVIOUSLY outpowered by just damn near every car ever built, but at least I deal with that on my own.

Hmmm. What do you drive? Maybe an Si or maybe wishing you had an Si. Either way, I am sure it is a lot nicer car than my poor little pathetic P.O.S. Metro, Huh?

I also have never been the first to be put out of the A main or the B main since I started going out there to Langley last year. I do it to relieve stress and for the show for whoever wants to pay money to come and watch.

I am willing to bet that you would like to race me, of course if your car was actually slow enough to, Huh? And when we raced you could go brag to all your friends about how you beat that Geo Metro out at Langley and you could tell them about how big of an ASSHOLE I was to you because you beat me, right? Don't forget to tell them that it took a 4 cylinder to beat a 3 cylinder though. I am sure they will be thoroughly impressed with that !!

I would also be willing to make a bet that your FWD car cannot do a single wheel burnout let alone a dual wheel burnout. And damn sure not with a 3 cylinder with 219,000 miles on it.

Also, Why in the world would you want to put a 1.3L DOHC head on a 1.6L SUZUKI engine when the 1.6L engine comes with a 16 valve SOHC head? Sounds funny to me. My guess is that you are trying to raise the compression on your 1.6L you have by using the 1.3 head. How close am I to being right? And better yet, how in the hell do I know YOU want that head? I am pretty darn sure that you are putting in your "Zuk named Stitch"

I bet you named it that because, like Stitch on "Lilo and Stitch", it is ever-changing in its capabilities and never ceases to amaze you with what it can do. Hmmmmm.

Also, FYI - The engine in my Metro is also a Suzuki engine. So obviously we both know that the Zuks are tough and they will live long and prosper.

I would like to meet you at Langley just so I know that there is someone else that runs a Suzuki engine besides me. You know what I drive, come up and introduce yourself sometime will ya? Maybe we could talk a little about the performance aspect of these itty bitty engines.

What is the Hyabusa? Just one of the baddest bikes on the street today! And I'll de damned, it is ALSO a Suzuki ! Isn't it?

How do you guys think he'll bury himself and snap axles just by driving it on the beach to go fishing? He didn't say anything in this post about any serious off-roading. He just wants to drive on the beach and have a little more ground clearance. If you're smart about it you don't really need a ladder frame or a V8 to drive on sand. Why is everyone so against a lifted Honda for such light duty?

I guess nobody informed these guys that they couldn't drive offroad?

Where in his post did he say where he was trying to "fit in?" Who in the fuck would want to "fit in" with clowns like you in the first place? Do you honestly think he'd be wasting money or do you just not want to see a 4 cylinder Honda on the beach next to your exclusive big manly V8 Silverado? Exactly.

You guys need to relax and realize that lifting a CRV for such light is not only perfectly acceptable, but also perfectly safe and reliable if it's done right.

EvolutionBoostin-Go here and you'll find everything you need to get your CR-V on the beach.

Actually in all my OBX adventures my buddies stock CRV did just as well as anything else including my buddies lifted Bronco... I mean it's light and goes as needed. He's not trying to compete or go mudding.

dave22 - That is a USEFUL reply.

When I was asking him WHY WHY WHY would he want to lift a CRV, I was just ribbing him.

Trying to get him to do what nobody else has the Gonads to do.

Like racing a Geo at Langley and not giving a damn what people think about you.

At least I am genuine in what I am doing and not driving a Honda like almost everyone else.
