I shot base on just the cab yesterday afternoon. I really want to try and shoot it again today but with weather like this I am scared to shoot with it only getting 55-60 deg in the shop. I need another propane heater

depending on what base your using....some only have a 24 hour window before you have to clear it...
and 55-60 will be fine...
i have painted cars colder than that...

I'm in the same boat. I go get in the mud every once and a while so I just want a 5 foot paint job. If you can look at it from 5 ft and say " not tooo bad" I will be happy as a fat rat if I get that. I could have got a SHOW paint job by my friend but he said it would need the truck for 2 weeks and IMO it was pointless to get something like that when I am going to just throw mud pies at it

Getting close.... laid all the clear today. Going to shoot primer and base on the bed tomm (I hope)
