the answer is that it's up to you, being a car rear it is probably not to wide but still a strong 9 inch .. . . of course all custom fab would have to be made up . . .

well im suprised that no one else has mentioned this. a 90 mustang gt is a 4 lug car. it is also not equipped with a 9" rear. it comes with the ford 8.8 rear. there are too many other much more cost effective axles to use than to try a mustang 8.8. what drive train do you plan on using in the samurai? a chevy 10 bolt rear with a 10 bolt front or a dana44 in the front should work fine due to the light weight. id like to see an 8lug sammy with a 14 bolt rear

and before I started building my s10 was thinking about full width samurai on 3/4 ton chevy's and 40's or 44's onlything samurai about it would be the body though
