found out today that a f150 spring matches the jeep (coil)

matches in size i think but beleive the spring rate is different . . . xj has 150 stock and i think 185 with 9 inch rusty's . .

the f150's are much higher . . they have thicker wire used . . .i know i was looking at a set for my s10 i was building trying to find the tallest spring i could cuz of the 15 inches of shock travel . . .. one of the fords i was looking at had 450 spring rate not sure if it was a 150 or 350 or what . .thought i had found the info on skyjacker but evidently not or they changed it around. . . give ya plenty of lift but might as well solid mount the axles lol

those are f150 spring in the front of that jeep. they are 8" springs.

the rear end came out of an expedition.

the only problem you will have with the front end is breaking shafts and its just the driver side one that breaks but now that it is locked up i know when jeff had it he hadnt had a problem.
