Default coil spring removal

Hey, a buddy of mine was trying to take his spring off and the disk that is ontop of the spring just kept spinning, we were using an air gun aswell. Is there something ou have to do before trying to take off the 14mm bolt that holds the spring on? Let me know.

When you have the gun on it make sure you pull up on top of the strut. so that there is tension. Hope this helps

Use a wrench and a allen wrench to hold the center of the shock still.
