Question to all you toyota guys

I gotta block from a 84 toyota i am wondering will the 85 head i have just bolt straight to the block or is there special machine work that needs to be done. i know the 84 block is 1/4" taller then the 85 but the bore and stroke are the same. its still a single timing chain which will need to be from the 84 due to the 2 extra links that came in the older model. I just want to make sure that putting the 85 head wont cause any problems and will actually work. And does anyone know of a shop that will rebuild the block for a fairly decent price? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
