yeah its a bw1356, an dif your plannon on doin any major wheeling with your truck do yourself a favor and get rid of the e4od uldess u get a heavy duty unit

 

I don't know if your on FSB or not but check them out and post up your plans and they will point you in the right direction.

And there are more then enough guys running e40ds that have been rebuilt to be bulletproof and wheel them.

Oh and there is an old 78-79 bronco with a 460 down on hwy 460 out past waverly (might be a little further than that) for only $800, if I had the space/time/tools/money I would pick this up for the engine and the axles to SAS my bronco.

 

if u wanna get rid of that junk e40d i know where the is a smallblock c6 and a 205 tcase it will bolt right up

 

if your trying to keep it injected you'll need the lower intake and injetors the exaust manis or the the y pipe is different too and the ECU but everything else should work
