Default 351W swap

i have the stock tranny in my 93 bronco. will a windsor bolt up to it, or would it be easier just to build up a 302?

then he would need a new tranny. Plus I wouldn't go puttin a 351 behind a stock C4 and doin any serious wheelin in it.

351w+toploader+dana300= Strong, cheap ford wheelin drivetrain.

fuck a cleveland. the windsor is hard enough to find parts for. guess that's it... I know some of those junkyards on 17 will pull a block and sell it for $100, so I'm gonna get one of those and build it up till I get off my restricted license.

when you're rollin through the junkyard, peek in the ford vans for a 460. You'd be surpised how many of those came with one, and I always got them cheap because the yard owners didn't wanna fuck with pullin the motor out of a van.

the 300 is an ford case that jeep thieved for themselves. They just made the input flange mate to the GM TH400 instead of a ford auto. The ford version is hard to come by, just grab any New Process case from a 73-80 ford Truck/Bronco and you'll be good. you running an auto or manual tranny? I'm guessing ur swapping out a I-6?

i've seen quite a few 460's in the trading post. I have an auto tranny, and no straight 6. just a beat up, tired 302 with 245,xxx original miles on it
