fairfax county loudon county.... never had problems with my giant fart cans "that are sold next week" ONLY cops to ever give me a ticket and fuckin give me shit is VA beach/norfolk cops... THEY CAN KISS MY ASS!!

i went on a ride-a-long in fairfax county a few times... very fun...
lots of stolen cars...
they make alot of stops for that very reason from what i observed.
also fairfax county has the largest police force in the state.
over 1200 officers....
i live in chesapeake which is larger by area than fairfax county...
the CHP won a VA state effeciency award for a departments less than 400 officers...
and fairfax county won all the awards for departments with over 1000 officers... because they are the only department with more than 1k officers in the state...
every year the state holds these awards ceremonies and every year FCPD always has the most of everything and with each award comes extra funding for whatever...
they have tons of trail bikes (honda XR series dirt bikes) at the franconia station that they purchased with award funds... what the fuck do they need those for?

 

I went on a ride-a-long too. They don't need that many flatfoot traffic cops. Because you know Vienna, Great Falls, and McLean is just teaming with scumbags waiting to commit crimes The worst part is definately Herndon, thats where I went on my ride-a-long. They have some very bad problems rising up, and from what I saw and heard, there's not much going on to make it stop. The reason why everyone hates them is because they harass drivers and hand out tickets like candy because they know they can make mass amounts of money off us Northern Virginians

 

I'm equal opportunity, I hate FF cops, Troopers, etc. If you are a cop that pulls people over for BS and by chance are reading this I hate you to.

The only ones that have been half way alright are the Alexandria city cops. They at least don't try to stop you over tint, exhaust, or other bullshit. I guess they are to busy doing their jobs.

 

Yep..it's a stillen muffler. I'm just going to get the muffler shop to chop off the tip and put a regular tailpipe on it. Buy a clamp on tip so I can just slap it on at the shows.

 

i don't mind getting pulled over as i understand the reason is that they are looking for drunks or stolen cars.. but when they have too much pride to let someone go with just a warning and have to write the ticket, that is bullshit. don't mind getting pulled, but the ticket i do mind

What he said. I respect any officer that pulls me over when I am doing something illegal. The point here is that too much of them are not doing anything or are stopping on minor offenses.

I don't understand the whole exhaust law. I feel that as long as you pass emissions, it really shouldn't matter what kind of exhaust you have. There are plenty of motorcycles whose aftermarket exhausts reach a decibel level that drowns out my stereo. BUT, since there is this stupid law about exhaust...if you change it...you risk getting pulled over.

 

I think the law does 2 things,
1) decibel compared to factory (which they cant exactly test what range your exhaust comes into)
2) Modification of Stock exhaust. If a modification is necessary it has to appear stock in size and sound. So thats the reason they give out tickets.
