what about tinted windows... if both your front windows are down and your rear is the legal tint of 35% and the officer ask you to roll up your front windows do you have to roll them up?

Thats like saying you have a Apexi 50-state legal exhaust...that doesnt matter it's aftermarket and produces a different sound note, your gonna get a ticket if it's not OEM. I can go put a Ford Motorsports Exhaust on and get away with it being louder since it's stamped Ford Motor Co.
ive never failed emissions, thats in a NA car and a boosted car, so i doubt a intake will hold you back from passing inspection, plus taking that picture BS stopped workin in fairfax years ago

Hmm, hard to say...when i got my tint ticket the cop said "I believe your tint is too dark based on your rear windows, please roll up your front ones so i can test them" So that's reasonable suspicion...but if your rear tint is legal, they can still claim to believe it's too dark anyway. I mean cops are wrong about alot of things, like how they pull evo's for "aftermarket exhaust" when it's stock.

Yes, the police can ask you to roll up your windows in order to test them. He can then give you a ticket after testing it with a tint meter if it shows that it darker than the legal limit.

Some of you are saying that he could possibly give the ticket bc of emissions... isn't that what we get the emissions tests done for? Do cops have the right to ticket you? There is already an 'emmissions passed' slip in every car (assuming the car's paperwork is up to date)

yeah but its either you get a ticket or the place you went to get your emissions gets fined... because the cop cant prove your exhaust or intake was always like that...so they just ticket you for improper equipment.
